Life is much too short.
We spend too much time surviving, and not enough time living.
Can you imagine a more perfect world? No, not a world that's perfectly safe all the time, or a world with perfect governments, or perfect people.
But a world. A very different one from ours.
Imagine with me, if you will, a world where people are just completely themselves.
A world where stereo types don't matter, or exist, and people act just like they want to.
A life where people act out loud, and speak their mind freely.
Cool idea, huh? Well, imagine a world, where no matter how hard something is, people strive for it.
A world with greater dreams, greater goals, and more dreamers.
A world where people don't let impossibilities stand in their way. One where mediocrity doesn't exist, and striving to accomplish your dreams, though still hard, is well worth all of the effort, and can happen to regular everyday people we know and love.
Oh, how about a world where people are nice? A world where unconditional love is an epidemic.
One where niceness is rampant. And not just to strangers. It's really easy to be nice to strangers one knows nothing about. A world where coworkers, neighbors, family members, cousins, true friends, all of the above are just..... absolutely kind to each other. You know? Like the kind of nice that gives you the feeling that even though you are a poor imperfect human being taking part in this eternal race, you are an amazing one. Absolute joy really. Absolute brotherhood and unity. Love.
We're talking spinning hugs here people.
Imagine with me a world where people aren't considered weird.
There isn't a difference between you, and me, and him and her. Instead, there's you, and theres me, and also him and her, and they are all people. Different from each other, but the same in their ultimate endeavors. They may be different, but they are still equal. And it's okay to be different. Because differences are new, and exciting, and they challenge our brains, and help us see this world through new eyes.
Oh, what about a world without Gossip?! A world where we see these other actions happening around us, and just accept it. We help anyone who needs it, but we don't pass unnecessary judgements.
Yeah, how about a world with no negative judgement? Where clothing, fashion statements, hair styles, eye color, hygiene, or even the kind of car some one drives doesn't matter that much. A world where that stuff is still cool, but does nothing to define a person.
How about a world where the character inside is what matters. One where we sit down, and ask a person, and ourselves, "what do I have on the inside? What do I have that will really last?" And that is what defines a person. Not their car, or their clothes, or their smarts, or even their muscles.
Here's one: what about a world where nobody cared how many "followers" they had on twitter, or how many notifications they had on any given morning.
A world where we were so busy living, that we just lived absolutely in the moment, and didn't care about the world as it went by at its incredibly fast pace.
We could revel in our little world, and nothing else would really matter. I mean, none of the crazy things we think matter.
We would just live so much in the moment, and so freely.
Nothing would hold us back.
Nothing I tell you! We wouldn't care what people thought of us, or if we had the best clothes, or the coolest cars, or the best reputation.
We would just love everyone for who they were. We would love ourselves for who we are, and we would partake in as much of this great big world as we can. Because, let's face it. We never can really experience all of it.
What an amazing world it would truly be.
What if we all acted like the true child inside all of us? Truly. Or, what if we let our children act like the true children inside of them? Just let them be, and make a mess like they want to. Then clean them up and put them to bed for the night. That would be the life if you ask me.
Imagine a world where we weren't afraid. Scary things would still exist for sure. Those will always exist. But what if we weren't afraid to walk down a crowded street, or talk to that cute kid in your chemistry class, or audition for a major role, or just to get lost? What would we discover if we acted without fear?
You know, fear is a very ancient innate device that kept our ancestors from putting themselves in danger. Like, walking into a saber-toothed tiger. But we are still very skid dish creatures. Even though we have been to the moon, into volcanoes, deep into the ocean, etc.
So what if we just acted with less fear? No fear of our little worlds. What if we all walked in like we owned the place? Wouldn't that just be amazing?
Okay, so a lot of this is kind of unrealistic. However, I think that it is all encompassing of the person we see inside of our heads. The person we see ourselves as. So why not be that person?
Well, you might say that there really are things in the world to be afraid of, and there really are mean people in our world, and related to us, and we do have things to worry about, and children do need structure in their lives, and some dreams really are much too big.
So?
I may be crazy, (don't answer that...) but life is too short. Far too short. And dreams really do happen, and people really are brave, and kids are only kids for a very short time. Perhaps I'm just stuck in childhood, and just dreaming, but I don't see anything wrong with that. And I see nothing wrong with becoming the person you always wanted to become, and living out loud.
In fact, I believe it is one of the purposes of this life.
It's too short to waist hoping a dreaming for a day and a time and a world where all of these things can come to pass. We have to make it happen.

I really loved this:)
